Originally from Barnsley, Deborah Thompson joined Taylor & Emmett in 2000 where she has developed a children and child care practice which represents all individuals involved in public and private legal proceedings relating to children.

Previously, Deborah spent six years working in Nottingham, developing a specialisation in childcare work and representing children, parents and other family members in public and private law cases.

A member of the Children Panel since 1996, Deborah is on the Solicitors Family Law Association Accredited Panel of Specialists, relating to children and advocacy since 1999. Deborah is also a member of the Association of Lawyers for Children.
