Diana Smart is head of our wills and probate department.

She deals with all areas of private client work, including wills, tax planning, trusts and estates, but has a particular interest and expertise in trusts and tax.

Diana qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1999 and has been a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners since 1995.

Having studied law in London and Chester, she worked for Wake Smith in Sheffield, before joining Taylor&Emmet in 2003.

As a keen rock climber, Diana was attracted to the city by its proximity to the Peak District. On sunny days, she can still be found on the cliffs of Stanage and Froggatt Edge with her husband and two children.
