Chaanah Patton is a partner in our wills and probate department.

Chaanah works in our private client department and specialises in the preparation of wills, administration of deceased estates, tax planning and trust advice.

She also deals with Lasting Powers of Attorney and mental incapacity issues with the Office of the Public Guardian and provides elderly care advice.

Chaanah was born in Sheffield, where she attended King Edward VII School. She read law at Cambridge and York and started working at Taylor&Emmet in 1997, after qualifying as a solicitor. She has also lectured in private client issues as part of the University of Sheffield’s legal practice course.

Chaanah is married with two children and lives in the Hope Valley. She is a keen runner and a member of Hallamshire Harriers Athletic Club and Dark Peak Fell Runners.
