Peter is the head of Taylor&Emmet’s Corporate team.

Peter studied law at the University of Sheffield, then trained and qualified with Taylor Vinters, a regional law firm based in Cambridge. He has also spent time working in Brussels at Crosby Renouf, a boutique EU law practice. Peter returned to Sheffield to join Taylor & Emmet in December 2007.

Peter specialises in all aspects of company and commercial law, particularly corporate finance. He has acted for a wide portfolio of both local and national clients, from start-up companies to listed plc’s.

In 2009, Peter won the Young Dealmaker award at the South Yorkshire Dealmakers’ Dinner. The 2010 Legal 500 notes that he is well regarded and has “extremely good communication with clients”.

At the weekend, Peter can normally be found in whichever town Norwich City Football Club happen to be playing in! He also enjoys travel, food and walking.
