Taylor&Emmet shows support for Dronfield ladies
Leading Sheffield solicitors, Taylor&Emmet LLP, is kicking off another season of support for local football by renewing its sponsorship of Dronfield Town Ladies’ most successful team.
For the third year running, Taylor&Emmet, which has a branch in Dronfield, has provided the town’s under-18s ladies football team with funding for a brand new kit.
Support of Dronfield Town is just part of Taylor&Emmet’s commitment to grassroots football, which includes long term patronage of Greenhill and Lowedges Juniors. The firm has also signed a two-year agreement with Sheffield and Hallamshire Football Association to sponsor the Sunday Senior and Junior Challenge Cups – the area’s largest cup competitions.
Dronfield Ladies Under-18s play in the Sheffield and Hallamshire Girls County League Division One. They are the current holders of Dronfield Town President’s Cup, which is awarded to the most successful ladies team and acknowledges their achievements in the 2009-10 season.
Anthony Long, Taylor&Emmet’s chief executive, said: “Many of our employees devote their spare time to grassroots sports, which play a vital role in community engagement. By supporting local football initiatives we aim to reinforce the individual efforts of our team and make a positive contribution to the game. We are very pleased to be renewing our commitment to Dronfield Ladies and strengthening our links with the town.”
Taylor&Emmet opened its office in Dronfield in January 2008 to make its expertise more accessible to clients in North East Derbyshire. The branch concentrates primarily on residential conveyancing, although clients can access the firm’s full range of personal and business legal services.
