Taylor&Emmet opens doors to stress managers
The event is being held at Taylor&Emmet’s Arundel Gate headquarters on November 3 – National Stress Awareness Day – to help businesses manage stress-related absences.
Independent stress practitioner, Kathryn Borg, will conduct 20-30 minute consultations with employers to help them recognise and understand the effects of stress, identify issues early and develop a management strategy to improve the health and wellbeing of their staff and manage stress in the workplace.

Jenny Arrowsmith, an employment law specialist at Taylor&Emmet, is organising the free clinics. She said: “Stress is one of the biggest causes of sick leave in the country, yet many employers are unsure of how to deal with staff affected by the condition. We are holding this event to help raise awareness of the issue and demonstrate to businesses that with early detection and the correct procedures in place, the impact of stress-related absences can be minimised.” |
