Michaela renews Resolution 25th July 2011
Taylor&Emmet family law partner, Michaela Heathcote, has cemented her place as one of the region’s leading Resolution specialists, following successful reaccreditation to the scheme.
Michaela will be continuing to help separating couples find a more amicable way to settle their disputes, having been reapproved by Resolution to act as an expert in financial provision and children law (private).
Resolution is a government-endorsed programme promoting non-confrontational legal advice that requires members to encourage clients to reach a fair and just outcome to disputes without resorting to legal intervention. This method carries equal weight to a court judgement and is proven to be much less stressful and more economic.
We are dedicated supporters of the Resolution ethos and all of our matrimonial solicitors are accredited specialists.
Head of family law, Pat Lennon, said: “We are extremely pleased to see Michaela extending her commitment to the Resolution process. Clients who are able to put their differences aside and reach an agreement in this way often find it saves them a great deal of heartache and undue pressure, as well as having financial benefits.”
Michaela is also a recognised Collaborative Lawyer – one of only a few in the South Yorkshire region. The scheme, which is run by Resolution, encourages clients to work with their solicitors to reach the best solutions for their family.
