Grass is greener at Taylor&Emmet for PI recruit
25th July 2011
Leading Sheffield firm of solicitors, Taylor&Emmet LLP, is expanding its personal injury department to strengthen the litigation services it offers to South Yorkshire residents.
Solicitor, John Green, is joining Taylor&Emmet’s personal injury team from Bell and Buxton, where he completed his legal training and subsequently worked in the property department.
His move to Taylor&Emmet marks a new direction in John’s career and sees him following in his family’s footsteps. His father, Vincent, is the firm’s current head of commercial property and his uncle, John, has dedicated 30 years to the residential conveyancing team.
Jonathan Stittle, head of personal injury at Taylor&Emmet, said: “John is a fantastic addition to our team. He has a great enthusiasm for personal injury litigation and is keen to develop his skills in this area. As the third member of the Green family to join Taylor&Emmet, there is little that John does not already know about the firm and I am confident that he will be a valuable asset to our long term future.”
John added: “Taylor&Emmet has offered me a fantastic opportunity to move into the area of law that interests me most. The firm has an excellent reputation among fellow professionals and the wider community and I am relishing the new challenges.”
