Taylor&Emmet business team praised by Legal 500

Key members of the business team at Sheffield solicitors, Taylor&Emmet LLP, have been commended for their knowledge and skills by The Legal 500 2011.

For the fourth successive year, Taylor&Emmet’s business legal services group has featured prominently in the industry bible, with the firm making the rankings in a total of 12 disciplines.

Taylor&Emmet’s head of employment law, David Poddington, is this year described as “brilliant and pragmatic,” whilst his team is acknowledged as being “superbly responsive.” The quality and breadth the department’s clients is also acknowledged in the annual legal review, which highlight’s work for Swiss company, Habasit Rossi, FJG Logistics and the Press Association.

The Legal 500 describes Taylor&Emmet’s corporate and commercial team, led by Peter Crawford, as displaying “exceptional knowledge and ease.” The firm’s dispute resolution specialist, Paul Clarke, is noted to be “quick to act, respond and explain matters,” whilst clients praise his “fighting spirit and clarity.” Head of business legal services, Rob Moore, is also recommended for his insolvency and corporate recovery work.
