Which area do you live?
I was born and brought up in Sheffield and currently live in the Hope Valley.
What you like doing in your spare time?
I am a keen runner and I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children.
Tell us something interesting about yourself
I am a member of Hallamshire Harriers Athletic Club and Dark Peak Fell Runners and I help organise the annual Hallam Chase Fell Race from Crosspool.
What did you do before joining Taylor&Emmet?
I read law at Cambridge and then went on to the College of Law at York, before starting work at Taylor & Emmet in 1997 as a newly qualified solicitor. I have lectured in Private Client as part of the University of Sheffield Legal Practice course.
What interested you in Law?
I became interested in the law after doing some work experience at the Crown Court where I was able to see first hand the law in action.
If you had not gone into Law what would have been your career choice?
If I had not become a solicitor, I would have wanted to be a Criminologist, as I am fascinated as to what leads people into crime.
What are your hopes/ambitions for your future career
I would hope to be playing a key part in the continuing successful growth of Taylor & Emmet’s probate team, so that we become the top firm in the region for this type of work.
